I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA, advised by Prof. Andreas F. Molisch.
Previously, I was a Research Professor at Korea University, Seoul, Korea, where I received my PhD, advised by Prof. Young-Chai Ko.
I’ve been recognized with prestigious awards, including 1st-Rank in ML competition, Best Paper awards at key IEEE conferences, and the Grand Prize for research excellence from Korea University.
My research interests include:
- Wireless communication
- Protocol design for LEO satellite networks
- AI for PHY/MAC, site-specific channel model, and RAN optimization

Dec 08, 2023 | Our two papers, “Robust Pathloss Map Prediction via Supervised Learning” and “Simple and Effective Augmentation Methods for CSI-Based Indoor Localization,” were presented at the IEEE GLOBECOM2023. |
Jun 10, 2023 | Our designed PMNet framework achieved the 1st (Top)-Rank at the IEEE ICASSP2023 ML competition (Radio Map Prediction Challenge), thanks to its outstanding accuracy. |
